“Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Company of Manila Inc. (AG&P Industrial) said it has around $1 billion worth of projects in the pipeline amid plans to expand its services and move into renewables.
Alex Gamboa, president and managing director of global business development at AG&P Industrial, said the company was currently completing a desulfurization deal in Queensland, Australia.
The company executive said they would also be starting a new energy terminal in Africa and a major terminal project in the Pacific Islands.
Gamboa said the company was not only expanding geographically but also broadening service offerings. “Gone were the days that AG&P only provided fabrication and construction services. Now, even the process engineering, detailed engineering is done in the Philippines,” Gamboa said.
Gamboa said the company was also moving beyond traditional oil and gas by taking on projects involving cleaner energy sources. He said the company has already made significant strides in the liquefied natural gas space.”

“AG&P Industrial (Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company of Manila Inc.) said it has close to $1 billion worth of contracts in the pipeline and is expanding its services and range of industries to which it caters.
Alex Gamboa, president and managing director of Global Business Development, AG&P Industrial, and chief executive officer of AG&P Americas, bared this in a virtual press briefing on June 11 after the company announced the completion and shipment of 120 modules for INEOS’ Project ONE, an ethane cracker facility in Port Antwerp, Belgium.
Gamboa declined to elaborate on the pipeline contracts but said these will be undertaken over the next two to three years.
‘We are pursuing major projects in the US, Europe and Australia. We are signing some of the contracts in the next couple of months. We will make specific announcements on those, especially a major partnership in Australia,’ he added.”
