Operating under the brand name AG&P Pratham, AG&P is one of the largest private energy players in the country, with 12 long-term 25-year exclusive concessions in the five states of Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Headquartered in Delhi with satellite offices across concession areas, AG&P is building out everyday infrastructure to provide easy access to clean, low-cost and fuel-efficient natural gas to 28 districts and ~80 million people across 8% of India.
AG&P is committed to delivering a network of 1,500 CNG stations to serve transport customers, connecting 10 million households over the next 10 years and laying 17,000 inch-km of pipeline. Everyday, our network is growing in each of our concessions in an unprecedented development campaign.
AG&P is leading the country’s transition to clean natural gas, helping lower greenhouse emissions, reduce particulates in our air and noxious by-products of other fuels. We are committed to helping India achieve its target of having 15 percent of NG in its primary energy mix by 2030. AG&P Pratham will serve millions of customers with clean, affordable, safe fuel, generating healthier air, employment, socio-economic development and improved lives for many Indians. In H2 2021, AG&P Pratham received over $300 million of equity investment from I Squared Capital, Osaka Gas and JOIN to expedite the roll-out of these vital gas networks.
